Master Impressions wants to make your experience with us pleasant as well as simple. We understand that you put your trust in us and our customer service staff strives to keep you happy.
Graphics and PrepressMaster Impressions has been printing labels for over 30 years. Our prepress department has grown from a world of galleys and paste-ups to an innovative digital world. Our prepress staff can assist you with cost savings ideas for your design and barcode requirements as well as make suggestions based on your application and material choices. We have seen and worked with thousands of designs and want to share our knowledge with you. We have many Tech Bulletins from our Prepress Department that we believe you will find helpful. Label PrintingAlthough we started out as a commercial printer, Master Impressions, Inc. has grown into a full service label supplier. Our niche in labels started with the aerosol industry with cut and stack labels run on sheet fed offset presses. Our primary printing process is flexographic. This more environmentally friendly process uses water based inks and have given us the capabilities to expand our services. We have since grown to include roll fed unsupported labels, pressure sensitive labels in a variety of materials, adhesives and coatings, custom die cut, coupon, piggy back, 3 page labels and many others. If you have an application that needs a label, we can provide it for you. We have eight options for label roll directions (PDF, 417K) from which to choose. You must use Adobe Acrobat Reader to view this file. Specialty LabelsOur 3 page labels offer the opportunity to use extra space for multiple language labels. As global marketing is expanding, we have to come up with new ways to include all the details you need to include – without the can or bottle getting any bigger. The label looks very much like a book when laying flat. The top label, or cover is your usual label. On the back of it, there is room for further instructions, a recipe, MSDS information – you name it. The top label is hinged to allow for multiple layers of information. There are so many uses for this type of label. Our dry release label is similar to the 3 page label; however, it does not have a hinged side. The top label simply comes off of the permanent bottom label. The adhesive is dry so you can use the top label for another use (directions, coupon, or recipe) and the bottom label stays attached to the product. Dry release labels are also referred to as coupon and piggyback labels. Our inventory of dies includes standard rectangles, circles and squares as well as custom shapes. If you cannot find a label to fit your container, our staff can work with you to design a custom shape of your own. Our cut and stack labels can be die cut as well to insure size and help to increase line speed of your labelers. Just In Time LabelsMaster Impressions has a Just in Time or JIT Program for you. By placing a blanket order for one year’s usage and supplying release dates, you can save yourself time and money. Imagine only having to write one purchase order for a label line! You will be able to utilize a high price bracket thereby lowering your cost per label. Not only do you save time and money, but also save warehouse space. With a JIT program, you decide the release dates and the product arrives just when you need it. Instead of storing the labels, they arrive just in time to run on your line. How can you beat a deal like that? Combination PrintingWith Master Impressions’ Combination Printing program, you can combine labels that are using the same die and colors. For example, if you have 5 labels that are all the same size and print in the same 3 colors, you will be able to combine the run and get a lower price per thousand. Not only are you saving money on printing but you are also processing fewer purchase orders. Tech BullitensOur Tech Bulletins answer many of the questions our customers have in regards to label design and printing. It also keeps them informed of new items of interest in the label industry. Our Tech Bulletins are available in PDF form for you to read. Simply call us and we will be happy to send you the ones you are interested in.
